Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Emergency Department Travel Nurse to join our team at Infojini Healthcare. As a Pediatric Emergency Department Travel Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to children and adolescents in a fast-paced emergency department setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and manage patients with a wide range of pediatric emergencies, including trauma, respiratory distress, and cardiac issues.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and department efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 1 year or more of experience in pediatric emergency department nursing.
  • Current RN licensure in CO or Compact State.
  • BLS, PALS, ACLS, ENPC, TNCC, and Safety Care certifications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ENPC certification.
  • Experience with Epic ASAP and Omnicell medication systems.

Work Environment:

  • 12-hour night shifts, 06:45 PM-07:00 AM.
  • Possible float to Psych ED with same shift time.
  • Weekend and on-call requirements as needed.
