Music Therapist

Allina Health is a leading healthcare organization dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. We are seeking a skilled Music Therapist to join our team and provide music therapy services to patients in various settings.

• Provide Music Therapy Services
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care
  • Implement music therapy interventions to promote patient well-being and recovery
  • Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Plan and Educate
  • Develop and lead group programs to treat patients
  • Educate support staff, volunteers, and families on music therapy techniques and benefits
• Other Duties
  • Maintain music therapy equipment and supplies
  • Document services provided and patient outcomes

• Bachelor's degree in music therapy from a program approved by the American Music Therapy Association
• 0-2 years of music therapist experience and completion of an American Music Therapy Association clinical internship in music therapy

• 2-5 years of experience as a music therapist in an acute care or home care and hospice setting

• Certified Music Therapist - The Certification Board for Music Therapists
• Valid Driver's License
