Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Multimodality Imaging Specialist to join our team at Ascension. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of illness and injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to ensure high-quality images.
  • Implement radiation protection and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Prepare, perform, and assist physicians in special and advanced procedures, including the administration of contrast media and medications.
  • Help position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards and guidelines.
  • Submit high-quality images and documents to PACS in a timely manner.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Indiana Medical Radiology Services Program within 6 months of hire date.
  • One or more of the following certifications: Cardiographic Tech, Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography, or Medical Sonographer, within 6 months of hire date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Multimodality Technologist proficient and Registered in CT and X-ray.
