Endoscopy Nurse Opportunity at Georgetown Hospital (St) TX

We are seeking a skilled Endoscopy Nurse to join our team at Georgetown Hospital (St) TX. As an Endoscopy Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced endoscopy unit.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
  • Assist with preparing patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients
  • Monitor patients during procedures and provide support as needed
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in critical care
  • Critical care experience (preferably ICU)
  • Endoscopy/GI experience, cardiac, and/or pulmonary
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work well under pressure
Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm, with on-call requirements approximately every 3rd weekend and 2-3 nights per week.
