Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old to operate kitchen equipment.
- Preferred: 1 year of prior experience in a kitchen, culinary, or chef role, particularly with broiler operations; however, this is not mandatory. Compensation is based on experience and skills.
- Knowledge and experience with kitchen equipment, including but not limited to knives, slicers, mixers, stoves, and ovens, are essential.
- Willingness to work various shifts as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
The Grill Cook is responsible for maintaining the grill's temperature throughout the shift. Our restaurant features an open-kitchen design, allowing visibility from the dining area. This role requires effective communication and teamwork with other staff members, including assemblers, expeditors, and management. The Grill Cook will manage ticket orders for proteins, ensuring proper cooking temperatures and adherence to company standards while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Compliance with sanitation protocols is crucial. Responsibilities also encompass opening and closing cleaning tasks.
