Role Overview:
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing global transfer requests and facilitating emergency air evacuations while ensuring effective communication with international clients.
Your expertise will be crucial in the BH International marketplace, showcasing your clinical skills across all support areas within the Patient Logistics Center (PLC). You will play a key role in enhancing process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Operationalize requests from international clients for Emergency Department visits.
- Oversee the management of international patients' visits and their subsequent disposition.
- Assist the BH Maritime Clinic with urgent international client requests.
- Provide immediate support to the BH International Hospitality team in liaising with physicians, international insurance providers, cruise lines, and all international clientele.
- Issue Medical Parole letters as required.
Foster a culture of excellence, transparent communication, and positive relationships with all members of the Broward Health team.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate's degree in nursing; BSN preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years of relevant nursing and charge experience; 2 years in Emergency Department, Critical Care, or Trauma preferred.
- Credentials: Must possess a State of Florida Registered Nurse license.
- Certifications: HCP-CPR and basic computer proficiency required.
For additional training requirements, please refer to the 'Healthcare Provider (BLS) & Advance Life Support Courses' policy.
