Parts Counter Specialist

GTG Peterbilt is seeking a skilled Parts Counter Specialist to join our team in Quincy, IL. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for assisting internal and external customers with identifying needed parts, providing exceptional customer service, and advising customers on available parts and services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist mechanics and customers with acquiring parts
- Locate parts mechanics might need to finish job
- Answer customer questions, provide price quotes in-person and over the phone
- Sell parts to help achieve sales goal
- Stock shelves on display and in warehouse
- Pull customer orders
- Maintain inventory, cycle count inventory, assist with core returns
- Excellent customer service
- Self-starter, maintain positive attitude
- Automotive or truck part related experience a plus, not required
- Multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate updates to internal and external customers
- Mechanical knowledge a must
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
