We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Passenger Service Attendant to join our team at the Grand Canyon Railway & Hotel. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service to our guests while on board the Grand Canyon Railway.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure passenger safety and follow all established safety procedures and guidelines.
- Communicate announcements and provide information to passengers.
- Provide educational information about the Grand Canyon Railway, Grand Canyon National Park, and surrounding areas.
- Prepare train cars for daily train rides and set up buffet tables and bars.
- Bartend for up to 68 passengers.
- Handle cash and follow all cash handling policies and procedures.
- Understand and adhere to all prescribed Environmental Management Systems (EMS) policies and corporate commitments.
- Perform bio-hazard clean-ups and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Work effectively in a team environment and communicate professionally with guests and colleagues.
- Practice good judgment and resolve guest-related problems in a professional manner.
- Must be at least 19 years of age.
- 2 years of customer service experience.
- 1 year of cashier experience.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
