Police Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Police Officer to join our team at the City of Fairborn. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining law and order, preventing crime, and providing excellent customer service to the community.

• Enforce traffic and criminal laws, and respond to emergency calls and complaints.
• Patrol assigned areas to observe and report suspicious activity, and to prevent and investigate crimes.
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and testify in court as needed.
• Provide support and assistance to the community, including directing traffic, serving warrants, and making arrests.
• Participate in training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest law enforcement techniques and procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must possess a valid Ohio Driver's License and be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a State of Ohio Peace Officer Certification.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
