Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Stephens Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing optimal respiratory care to patients, promoting positive interdisciplinary relationships, and participating in performance improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients, including emergency procedures and routine care as ordered by physicians.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and adherence to hospital standards.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes and hospital efficiency.
  • Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including therapeutic gases and testing devices.
  • Order and manage respiratory supplies to meet patient needs.
Requirements
  • High School diploma and graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care Practitioners Program.
  • Current license with the Texas Department of Health.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR-Healthcare Provider) certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with moderate to high stress levels.
