Key Responsibilities:

  • Reports to the Manager or Supervisor of Sterile Processing and works under the supervision of the Lead SPD Technician.
  • Receives training for and achieves competency in all areas of Sterile Processing (Decontamination, Assembly, Sterilization, case cart transport and case pick).
  • Collaborates with the team to deliver high-quality instrumentation and participates in team huddles to contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
  • Responsible for adhering to Lee Health and Lee Health System policies and protocols, as well as AAMI, APIC, and AORN standards.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 6 months external experience in a related healthcare field preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English for work-related communication.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position working a shift schedule, with a minimum to midpoint pay rate of $25.05 per hour.
