Job Title: Lead Radiologic Technologist, Outpatient Imaging

Adventist HealthCare is seeking an experienced Lead Radiologic Technologist to join our Outpatient Imaging team in Rockville, MD. As a key member of our diagnostic radiology team, you will be responsible for promoting department morale, providing a supportive work environment, and seeking personal growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure high-quality, compassionate, and courteous customer service from the diagnostic radiology staff.
  • Consistently produce high-quality images to provide physicians with accurate data and maintain the Diagnostic Radiology department in a state of survey readiness.
  • Demonstrate cost-effectiveness in the use of resources, supplies, and equipment as well as time management.
  • Contribute to community education while ensuring adequate staffing to accommodate department and community needs.
  • Conduct oneself in a manner that supports the hospital's mission and is respectful of cultural, ethnic, and spiritual diversity.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Graduate of two-year AMA/JCERT accredited school of radiography.
  • 3 years' experience in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • ARRT registered (RT); ARRT Advanced Certification, (QA) preferred.
  • State of Maryland Medical Radiation Technologist license.
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • High level of technical aptitude.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle a multi-task environment.
  • Basic PC skills such as Windows.
Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm. Able to rotate to all OP Imaging sites; DEXA experience preferred.
