Senior Oligonucleotide Chemist

We are seeking a skilled Oligonucleotide Chemist to join our team at Beacon Hill Life Sciences in Boston. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the development of innovative oligonucleotide synthesis methods.
About the Role
- This is a hands-on position that involves operating and maintaining various laboratory equipment, including automated oligo synthesizers and purification systems.
- You will be responsible for the development and implementation of synthetic oligonucleotide methods and processes, as well as conducting analytical characterization and data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of oligonucleotide chemistry and experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) are essential for this role.
- The successful candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as they will be working closely with colleagues to achieve project goals.
- A bachelor's degree in organic chemistry, biochemistry or related field, along with 2+ years of laboratory experience, or a master's degree in organic chemistry, biochemistry is required.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, are also necessary.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field, with 2+ years of general laboratory experience, or Master's degree in Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry.
- Experience with oligonucleotide chemistry, automation, and LIMS is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to learn new techniques and procedures quickly.
