We are seeking a skilled ER Monitor Technician to join our team at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center. As a Monitor Tech, you will play a critical role in identifying cardiac rhythms and notifying nurses of changes in rhythm.
Responsibilities:- Monitor 41 rhythm channels in a central area
- Facilitate nursing unit operations under the direction of the RN
- Perform clerical and patient care activities
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- High school education or GED equivalent
- Completion of an approved nursing assistant or unit secretary course
- Previous experience as a Unit Secretary preferred
- Rhythm Identification Course within 90 days of hire
- Strip Identification Test within 30 days of hire
- BLS certification
