Job SummaryWe are seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide care to patients with end-stage renal disease. The PCT will work under the supervision of a registered nurse to deliver prescribed treatments and ensure safe care and high-quality outcomes for every patient.
Responsibilities- Participate in infection control, risk management, and patient education activities
- Guide new patients through a 120-day education plan
- Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment
- Set up and break down dialysis blood systems for treatment
- Insert and remove patient access needles
- Monitor patients during dialysis, document changes, and inform the charge nurse of any concerns
- Calculate patient weight loss to reach dry weight
- Determine patient care priorities and organize workload accordingly
- Maintain professional working relationships, observing patient privacy and rights
- Maintain and track inventory
- Perform laboratory work

No prior healthcare experience is required. We offer paid training and competitive pay, with a pay range of $23.00-$27.00 per hour. The schedule is full-time, with three 12-hour shifts starting at 4:00am, and Sundays off.
