We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Universal Health Services. As a Staff Nurse (RN), you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our psychiatric hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Prescribe, coordinate, and evaluate patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- A minimum of one (1) year experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
- Currently licensed to practice by the Mississippi State Board of Nursing.
- Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications.
- CPR certification and CPI certification (Management of Aggressive Behavior) including restraint and seclusion policies, within 90 days of employment.
