Job Title: School Based Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and independent Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to cover multiple maternity leaves during the school year. This full-time position will provide vital speech and language services across various campuses, ensuring continuity of care for our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct therapy services to students across multiple grade levels.
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Write and manage Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' educational needs.
  • Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to discussions regarding student needs.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
  • Ability to work independently, as supervision is not required or provided.
  • Experience writing IEPs and conducting evaluations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
