Amentum is seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Power Systems Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and performing advanced task assignments for facility power distribution systems (up to 13.8 KV) at the Kennedy Space Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of Mission Support planning and coordination, equipment Operations and Maintenance, electrical project planning, facility power system design, and mission test procedure development.
  • Responsible for assigned Low Voltage power distribution systems, knowledgeable of Medium Voltage power distribution systems, coordination with the Mission Support Office to support all Launch and Mission related activities.
  • Work with technical craft labor to maintain the overall health of assigned systems.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, or related electrical engineering field.
  • 15+ years of job-related experience or equivalent.
  • Strong communications and analytical skills.
  • Working knowledge of computer systems, integrated software application programs, and PLC software control systems.
  • Ability to lead team resolution or design efforts to rapid conclusion.
