Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will be responsible for the nutritional care and education of all patients/residents in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop personalized diet plans for patients/residents, taking into account their unique nutritional needs and health status.
  • Evaluate patients/residents' responses to diet interventions and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in discharge planning and development of patient care plans, including assessments and recommendations for post-discharge nutrition support.
  • Develop and implement education programs for patients/residents, families, and caregivers on various aspects of nutrition and healthy eating.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of patient/resident care, including dietary assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in clinical nutrition and apply this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.

 

Requirements:

  • A Current State of Florida license as a dietitian.
  • Registration or eligibility with the CDR of the American Dietetic Association.
  • Bachelor's degree in clinical dietetics or foods/nutrition, plus one year internship or equivalent, or master's degree required.
  • Minimum of one year clinical dietetics experience preferred.
  • Skilled Nursing and IRF experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English language.

 

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $85,000, commensurate with experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
