Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership on major tasks or technology assignments, ensuring the successful implementation of IT projects.
  • Network Operations Center Management: Manage the functionality and efficiency of our network operations center, ensuring seamless IT service delivery.
  • Policy Development: Develop, track, revise, and monitor policies and standards for the allocation of IT and computing resources, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Customer Support: Diagnose and solve customer issues, manage customer accounts, and establish and repair customer accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Technical Support: Respond to end-users' requests through remote assistance, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
  • Network Systems Management: Manage the deployment of mobile kits, ensure end users have reliable network connectivity, and configure and operate information management systems over mobile platforms.
  • Knowledge Management: Establish and maintain comprehensive knowledge of our organization's hardware, software, and network components, as well as knowledge of programming languages and operating systems.
  • Standard Operating Procedures: Assist in the development, documentation, exercising, and auditing of standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Network Integration: Responsible for the integration of a network, including planning, design, installation, maintenance, management, and coordination of the corporate LAN/WAN.
  • COMSEC Management: Update, key, configure, and establish connectivity of COMSEC devices, ensuring secure communication.
  • Incident Management: Maintain written documentation of incidents and escalate issues to the appropriate level of support as required by documented policies and procedures.
  • Server and Workstation Management: Patch and maintain servers, workstations, storage area networks, etc., ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Software Deployment: Deploy software through the use of technologies such as SCCM, ensuring seamless software deployment.
  • Remote Imaging and Configuration: Conduct remote imaging and configurations of geographically separated systems, ensuring efficient system deployment.
  • Training and Guidance: Provide advice and training to end-users, and guide and inform senior leadership, ensuring effective knowledge transfer.
  • Professional Development: Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned, ensuring professional growth and development.
Requirements
  • Compliance: Must be DoDD 8140, IAT II compliant (CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND, Security+ CE).
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to work independently and with a team, adapt to changing technology, and coachable and receptive.
  • Client-Facing Skills: Effective client-facing skills to include communication, active listening, critical thinking, time management, and adaptability.
  • Clearance: Must have active Top Secret clearance with SCI or TS with the ability to acquire SCI.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Certifications: Current MCSA or Azure Administrator Associate certification.
