Caregiver USA Inc is seeking a Medical Transport Driver to provide transportation support services for our Universal City, TX location. As a Medical Transport Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting individuals to their destinations, as well as providing personal assistance with daily living activities such as grooming, eating, bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene. You will also be responsible for copying, filing, and sorting paperwork as assigned by your supervisor. Additionally, you will assist with meal preparation, eating, and housekeeping, as well as ambulation and mobility as needed. You will also reinforce counseling and therapy activities, assist with medication, and perform RN delegated tasks. You will supervise and assure the health, safety, and security of individuals, and facilitate inclusion in community activities, use of natural supports, social interaction, participation in leisure activities, and development of social behavior. You will maintain regular attendance and timeliness of duties, and maintain good work and personal ethics in dealing with co-workers and resident consumers. You will present a neat and clean appearance, practice good personal hygiene, and perform other duties as assigned. To be successful in this role, you will need a High School Diploma or GED, three personal references that provide evidence of your ability to provide a safe, healthy environment for the individuals we serve, a clear background check including criminal history, a valid Texas Driver's License, a driving record that meets minimum standards, allowing for insurance coverage under the company's insurance, and the ability to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively in English.
