Job Description:

ABC Supply Co. is seeking a licensed CDL Driver to join our team. As a CDL Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of exterior and interior building products to our customers. This role requires a valid CDL Class A or B license, as well as the ability to lift 70-pound bundles of shingles repeatedly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Treat customers with a friendly and professional manner
  • Conduct a safe work zone during each job site
  • Adhere to assigned delivery schedule and follow all job directives precisely
  • Document every step of each delivery by taking and uploading photos with our camera phone system
  • Complete a thorough load check on your truck before leaving the branch, ensuring that all delivery materials are firmly secured and all parts of your truck are in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
  • Work in cooperation with the Delivery Material Handler to determine where to set the materials and unloading them
  • Complete and file all logs and required government paperwork in a precise and timely manner
  • Provide the customer with an invoice on completion of each delivery and collect the entire due amount on COD deliveries
  • Responsibilities may include warehouse work, including loading and unloading of materials on to or off of trucks or into warehouse as assigned
Requirements:
  • Valid CDL Class A or B license
  • Ability to lift 70-pound bundles of shingles repeatedly
  • Ability and willingness to work on rooftops
  • Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens are required
  • Conveyor truck experience is preferred

Pay Information:

Starting wage $26 - $28 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
