Occupational Therapist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Trumbull County Educational Service Center. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting students with physical, sensory, and perceptual deficits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans to promote students' independence and participation in daily activities.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement adaptive equipment and devices to support students' needs.
  • Provide training and guidance to school personnel and families on treatment procedures and strategies.
  • Consult with bus drivers and classroom assistants to ensure safe and effective transportation plans for students with special needs.
  • Work as part of a team to develop and implement transportation plans that meet students' unique needs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Valid Occupational Therapist license from the Ohio Department of Education.
  • Current license from the State of Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Athletic Trainer's Board.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
