Key Responsibilities:

As the Front Desk Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in the hotel's operations, serving as the main point of contact for guests and the front desk team. Your leadership will be essential in fostering a collaborative environment among staff members. You will also gain insights into the operational aspects of the front office, including staffing, scheduling, and budget management, which are crucial for your growth as a leader.

Daily responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring clear communication and maintaining a high standard of professionalism in a fast-paced setting.
  • Providing training and support to front desk personnel on hotel policies and departmental standards.
  • Assisting with daily front desk operations as needed.
  • Collaborating with the Guest Services Manager to monitor staff performance and attendance.
  • Managing daily financial tasks, including cash handling, deposits, credit card reconciliations, and batch submissions.

Qualifications:

We seek candidates with a High School diploma (or equivalent) and one to three years of relevant experience. You should thrive in a team-oriented atmosphere, capable of quickly assessing situations and devising effective solutions. A strong commitment to customer service is essential.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires flexibility, as you will spend time both at the front desk and on the move. You should be prepared for physical activities such as standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and navigating stairs. Availability for varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is necessary.
