Job Summary

As a NPD Engineer - Precision Components Specialist at Michael Page, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle while working across teams. This role requires strong technical skills, including GD&T and mechanical design expertise. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to update project costs and business cases, summarize deliverables, and secure team approval from concept to launch. Additionally, you will coordinate meetings for cost, design, and performance considerations, interact with vendors for information gathering and compatibility checks, and assist with testing, troubleshooting, and developing new techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advance projects through new product development phases while assessing technical risks and manufacturability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to update project costs and business cases.
  • Summarize deliverables and secure team approval from concept to launch.
  • Coordinate meetings for cost, design, and performance considerations.
  • Interact with vendors for information gathering and compatibility checks.
  • Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and developing new techniques.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of GD&T / Mechanical design skills.
  • AutoCAD / SolidWorks familiarity, Autodesk Inventor preferred.
  • Full product lifecycle experience a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interface with customers.
