About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Adventist Health White Memorial Montebello. As a key member of our imaging department, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously to detect or treat diseases, using radioisotope equipment. You will also administer medical substances for imaging or other procedures, perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, and coordinate patient flow while maintaining procedure quality control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and administer radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies using various radioisotope equipment.
  • Administer intravenous injections according to established procedures.
  • Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation.
  • Document all relevant information regarding radioactive materials and surveys as per departmental procedures.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma/Certificate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine school.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent (preferred).
  • A State Nuclear Medicine License (required in CA and HI).
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine or certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (required in CA and OR).
  • Venipuncture certification (required in CA and HI).
Compensation Package:
