About the Role

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Electrical Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the complete mechanical and electrical assembly of units from start to finish using a variety of hand/power tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and install electrical components, including wiring, motors, and control panels.
  • Read and interpret schematics, wire diagrams, and service manuals to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Layout and build control panels, including PLC and drive systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical components and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective assembly processes.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical assembly and installation.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with knowledge of computers and data entry.
  • Ability to read and understand new programs and technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
