We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Operations Specialist to join our team at Upshift. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with stocking and setting up kitchen stations to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Prepare food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces to meet the highest quality standards.
  • Cook food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to ensure dishes are prepared to perfection.
  • Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our customers.
  • Clean and sanitize cooking surfaces at the end of each shift to maintain a clean and hygienic workspace.
Requirements
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and frequently lift/carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying of up to 50 pounds may be required.
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms in any direction and kneel and stoop repeatedly.
  • Excellent vision and hearing are essential due to the dynamic nature of the culinary environment.
