Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Assistant Team Lead to oversee the daily operations of our medical assistant team, ensuring efficient and effective patient care. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and supporting the medical assistant team, providing guidance and training as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and support the medical assistant team, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Patient Care: Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures, manage patient flow, and ensure timely and accurate documentation.
  • Work Environment: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care, and handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a medical assistant, preferably in a pain management or similar clinical setting.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred but not required.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems, such as eClinicalworks.

$28-$32 per hour depending on experience.
