Lake Huron Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a member of our cardiovascular lab, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Responsibilities- Assist physicians with invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures, including scrubbing and monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data.
- Ensure the procedure room is adequately prepared for each procedure, including monitoring par levels of instruments and supplies.
- Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities, and assist in the training of new staff.
- Assist with all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures, including hemodynamic monitoring and data analysis.
- ARRT-R and license as required by State or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification.
- Previous experience in a cardiovascular lab, preferably in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring.
- Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring, preferred.
- BCLS (AHA) certification required upon hire and maintained current.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Proficient computer skills.
