Informatics Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced Clinical Informatics Specialist to join our firm and contribute to the development of a new clinical informatics service line for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

This role will involve both client work and the creation of innovative informatics capabilities and solutions to streamline processes, ensure user engagement, and drive impactful results in healthcare delivery.

**Estimated Salary:** $120,000 - $150,000 per annum

Job Description:

The Clinical Informatics Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing clinical informatics solutions that align with client needs and enhance care delivery for Veterans.

This includes working closely with clients to understand their requirements, designing and implementing innovative informatics capabilities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Health Informatics, Nursing Informatics, or related field; MD or clinical background preferred
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in clinical informatics with direct experience in the VA or other federal health clients
• Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical terminologies, and interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR)
• Proficiency in data analysis tools
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations relevant to the VA
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Proven ability to identify and help resolve issues and risks
• Proven ability to lead a team ensuring that all requirements are fulfilled
