Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL A Regional Truck Driver to join our team at Ryder System. As a Regional CDL A Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations across the country, ensuring timely and safe transportation of cargo.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination vehicle to transport goods from one location to another.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload cargo, using proper lifting techniques to avoid injury.
  • Communicate with dispatchers and other drivers to coordinate routes and schedules.
Requirements
  • Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
  • At least 9 months of experience as a CDL A driver within the past 3 years, or 2 years of experience within the last 5 years, or 5 years of experience within the last 10 years.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
Benefits
  • Paid weekly.
  • Average weekly pay: $1403 - $1700.
  • Solo miles pay: $0.60 per mile with 2000+ miles per week.
  • Solo stops pay: $18.75 per stop with 8+ stops per week.
  • Per diem pay: $27.50 per night with 3 - 4 nights per week.
  • Overnights for route in sleeper.
  • New consecutive multi-night route premium of $150.
  • Loyalty bonus: $5000 - pays you $2500 at 6 months and $2500 at 12 months.
  • Paid training.
  • Schedule: mostly Tuesday - Friday, no weekends.
  • Start time: 4:00 AM.
