Overview

The University of New Mexico is seeking a talented Medical Imaging Expert to join its Abdominal Imaging section in the Department of Radiology. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the academic and clinical success of our team.


About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional individual with expertise in abdominal/body/oncologic imaging to fill this critical role. As a Medical Imaging Expert, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic and consultative services in abdominal and oncologic imaging. You will work closely with residents and fellows to ensure seamless care delivery and contribute to the growth of our academic radiology practice.


Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver primary diagnostic and consultative services in abdominal and oncologic imaging
  • Rotate through various locations, including our adjacent NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center
  • Participate in clinical consultations, tumor boards, and multidisciplinary conferences

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A medical degree (MD or DO) or equivalent
  • State licensure in New Mexico
  • Abdominal/body/oncologic imaging fellowship or comparable experience
  • ABR board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology

Salary and Benefits
