Windup Operator

This position as a Windup Operator at Flex-O-Glass Inc. is based in our Dixon, IL office and offers a unique opportunity to join our production team. The successful candidate will work closely with other production staff to provide support across the plant.

To succeed in this role, you should have experience in manufacturing, with the ability to work independently and lift products ranging from 2 pounds to 60 pounds. A high school diploma or GED is required, and previous experience in the industry is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Folding, winding, cutting, processing, and packaging materials
• Properly handling scrap from machines
• Maintaining supplies of all components
• Controlling speed and settings of wind-up equipment
• Working on or next to dies
• Properly threading machines
• Properly cleaning equipment
