Job Summary:

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in providing nursing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). As an LPN, you will work in a group home setting, providing general clinical care, medication management, and diabetic care to individuals with IDD.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing services, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each individual.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Monitor and report any changes in an individual's condition to the healthcare team.
  • Provide education and training to staff members on universal precautions, infection control, and medication administration.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current state LPN or LVN licensure for state of residence.
  • One year of experience working with IDD population in a nursing capacity.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with staff, individuals served, and families.
