Job Title: Assistant Preschool Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our team at The Goddard School. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for our young students.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Implement the school's education program using a "learning through play" philosophy, ensuring a stimulating and interactive learning experience for our students.
  • Provide close supervision and care for our students at all times, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Assist with daily routines, including diaper changing and toileting, as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with school personnel, children, and parents, building strong relationships and fostering a sense of community.
  • Multitask in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with our team to provide a seamless and supportive experience for our students.
  • Respond to crisis situations, including emergency evacuations, with calm and professionalism.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification is preferred, or a willingness to obtain it with financial assistance offered through our Keystone STARS benefits.
  • Experience working with children is essential.
  • Meet background check eligibility requirements.
