Mixer Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mixer Operator to join our team at DecoPac Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and tending to machines that mix and blend materials.

• Material Preparation: Measure and prepare dry and liquid ingredients for mixing, ensuring accurate quantities and quality.
• Color Management: Prepare ink for production floor labels, including mixing and labeling, and maintain adequate supplies of colors for production needs.
• Batch Management: Complete batch worksheets, perform quality checks, and record lot numbers and dates of ingredients used.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean equipment, mixing room, and surrounding areas as needed, and maintain drums and powder bins.

• Visual Acuity: Demonstrate good visual acuity to distinguish between details and colors.
• Organization and Communication: Demonstrate good organization skills to collect and assemble ingredients, coordinate timetables, and schedule work assignments with co-workers.
• Problem-Solving: Use good problem-solving skills to determine appropriate action for resolution.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with a team.

The successful candidate will be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform tasks that require stooping, pulling, pushing, twisting, bending, and reaching.

As a full-time employee working an average of thirty (30) hours or more, you will be eligible to enroll in a comprehensive benefit package.
