Position Overview:
This opportunity is hosted by Jobot. We are in search of an experienced tax professional to fill the role of Senior Tax Analyst within the Manufacturing sector.

Compensation:
Salary range: $110,000 - $130,000 annually.

About the Role:
As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will engage in the preparation and evaluation of tax filings, perform financial assessments, and develop tax strategies. This role offers a chance to collaborate with a dynamic team and leverage your expertise in tax analysis and preparation.

Key Responsibilities:
Your primary duties will encompass:
  • Preparing and reviewing federal, state, and local income tax returns along with other business-related submissions.
  • Formulating and executing strategic tax planning for applicable federal and state taxes.
  • Overseeing the organization’s tax policies and objectives.
  • Conducting intricate tax research and preparing documentation for audits.
  • Analyzing and coordinating various tax accounting data to generate precise tax-related reports.
  • Ensuring adherence to federal and state tax laws and regulations.
  • Assisting in financial analysis and forecasting concerning tax obligations.
  • Collaborating with internal and external auditors during financial and tax examinations.
  • Staying updated on current developments in the tax field that may affect the organization’s financials.

Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, candidates should possess:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree or CPA certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in tax analysis and preparation, ideally within the manufacturing sector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax codes, regulations, and procedures.
  • Strong financial analysis capabilities and experience in tax return preparation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, technical, IT, and numerical skills.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex tax information clearly.
  • The capacity to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • A high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
