Coffee Shop Supervisor

Join our team as a Shift Supervisor and take on a leadership role in our Tallmadge, Ohio coffee house. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring an excellent customer service experience, maintaining a clean and tidy store environment, and continually learning about specialty coffee and tea.

• Coach and craft specialty coffee beverages to company standards
• Ensure an excellent customer service experience throughout the shift
• Maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment and nurture a professional and positive work environment
• Perform opening or closing tasks based on business needs and to company standard
• Resolve customer concerns and complaints while on shift
• Ensure proper cash management

• Specialty coffee/tea lover with a desire to learn more
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barista
• Solution-oriented/able to problem-solve
• Positive person able to focus on the good
• Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Motivated to communicate, measure, achieve, and recognize results
• Able to multitask with efficiency and urgency
• Reliable transportation, punctual for all shifts and meetings
• Ability to lift 40 pounds
• Comfortable with wearing a headset for drive-thru
• Sense of urgency when performing tasks and serving customers
• Servant Leadership-team player, leads by example-not title
• Plans, directs, and follows up to ensure Operational Excellence
• Checks and Adjusts approach as needed to achieve results, exceed customer expectations
