About the Job

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work on a per diem basis in Boston, Massachusetts.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Responsibilities
  • Operate SPECT, SPECT/CT, and PET/CT imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic images and information.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring proper patient preparation and immobilization.
  • Deliver patient care under the scope of licensure/training, maintaining ethical standards.
  • Calibrate and verify equipment operation, notifying appropriate personnel of malfunctions and repairs needed.
  • Complete paperwork, RIS, and Epic functions as necessary for each patient exam.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A graduate of an approved school of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • A valid Massachusetts license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Registration or eligibility for certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-N) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • Ability to lift, transfer patients, and operate equipment safely.
