Project Manager III

At Platform Aerospace, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager III to join our team. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for ensuring assigned projects are accomplished to the statement of work (SOW) and within the timeline and budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure project meets internal and client expectations with respect to quality, budget, delivery timelines and strategy.
  • Create contingency plans with appropriate input from key team members and implement a revised project schedule, scope, or budget in a timely manner.
  • Establish and maintain a usable and well-communicated schedule for all phases of a project.
  • Manage day-to-day client interaction and develop lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client ties.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
Requirements:
  • 12+ years of related Program/project Management experience. B.S. + 8 years of demonstrated experience in Program Management may be considered.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Department of Defense, US, and other military branches.
  • Knowledge and experience in Aerospace or Defense Industry.
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
