Scarsella Bros., Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at a project in Idaho. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting and repairing heavy machinery, with a focus on diesel engines, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Work independently or with industry specialists to diagnose and troubleshoot problems with production machinery.
  • Set up, run, troubleshoot, and tear down mining machinery.
  • Experience with diesel engines, hydraulic, pneumatic, and 24V electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot machinery errors and communicate issues with project management when necessary.
  • Work with equipment operators to ensure machines are running safely and properly.
  • Perform required re-fueling and lubrication tasks.
  • Perform other duties as required.

**Requirements:**

  • 5+ years of direct Heavy Equipment Mechanic experience with repair on yellow iron.
  • Ability to understand, follow, and communicate written and oral instructions with management or supervision.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and layout tools safely and efficiently.

**Physical Requirements:**

  • Able to meet all physical requirements.
  • Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Able to climb, work at heights, and in confined spaces.
