Position Summary

As a member of the Overage, Shortage & Damages Team, you will play a crucial role in managing the effective handling of returned and damaged products. Your responsibilities will include receiving over-shipments and assessing damaged items to determine which products can be salvaged and repackaged.

As a Repack Associate, you will aid our sustainability initiatives by carefully inspecting and repurposing damaged items, ensuring that we deliver only the highest quality products to our customers.

Your Contributions Will Include:

  • Overseeing the processing of returned and damaged merchandise.
  • Receiving and repackaging salvageable items from customers and the warehouse.
  • Organizing unsellable products by stacking them on pallets, shrink-wrapping, and preparing them for transport to other facilities.
  • Maintaining accurate records of returned products from inbound shipments.
  • Ensuring a clean and sanitary work environment through regular cleaning and organization.
  • Safely lifting and handling products of varying weights and sizes.
  • Adhering to all safety protocols for material handling equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Engaging in continuous standing, bending, lifting, and moving for up to 90% of the shift.
  • Walking on various surfaces, including concrete and tile.
  • Regularly lifting products weighing 50 lbs or more.
  • Handling products from floor level to overhead.
  • Working at different heights safely.
  • Using sharp tools safely for cutting and packaging.
