Emergency Room Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Zion Medical Center. As a key member of our Emergency Department, you will provide high-quality patient care, lead by example, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care, policies, and procedures.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to excellence, and promoting a culture of safety and respect.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized plans of care, ensuring effective communication and coordination of patient care.
- Monitor patient progress, revise plans as needed, and ensure that care meets standards of practice.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and empowering them to take an active role in their care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and functional work environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- 6 months recent experience in ED or Critical Care, or successful completion of a KP ED training program or approved equivalent within the last 12 months.
- Registered Nurse License (California)

- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Basic Life Support
