ERMC Aviation Services is looking for a seasoned Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our maintenance operations at the airport. This role is essential in managing a diverse team of site supervisors and technicians, including electricians, mechanics, and equipment operators.
The primary objective of the successful Supervisor is to cultivate a high-performing maintenance team, reduce equipment downtime, and effectively manage projects within a 24/7 customer-centric environment.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in maintenance practices, planning, safety protocols, and training initiatives.Experience with baggage handling systems, automation technologies, or engineering backgrounds will be advantageous. The candidate should exhibit strong self-motivation and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Additionally, they must demonstrate proficiency in building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels. The role also requires overseeing the acceptance of maintenance for large-scale, intricate projects.
Furthermore, the candidate should excel in providing technical guidance and mentorship to a maintenance team of at least 20 personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or a minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance management position.
Experience in an airport setting is highly preferred.
Previous roles should include leading teams of 20 or more employees, encompassing both exempt and non-exempt staff.
Demonstrated experience in leading maintenance teams in a 24/7 operational environment.
5+ years of experience in managing personnel and monitoring performance metrics.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
In-depth knowledge of airport operations and maintenance.
Exceptional administrative, communication, and leadership capabilities, including verbal and written communication, judgment, organizational development, coaching, and mentoring.
5+ years of experience in Maintenance Management, with a strong preference for airport industry experience.
Develop and implement business plans for the Maintenance Department, providing strategic guidance for successful execution.
Formulate and execute Reliability plans aimed at minimizing downtime at the facility.

Requirements:
Comprehensive understanding of aviation industry operations.
1-3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
Strong working knowledge of processes within airport facilities.
Flexibility in shift work and availability for weekend duties.
Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Control) is preferred.
Prior experience in aviation baggage handling and conveyor systems operations.
Educational background or training in mechanical, electrical, or engineering disciplines.
Analytical problem-solving skills with a robust background in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
Technical training in mechanical, electrical, or electronic fields.
Proficient PC skills, with a strong preference for Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency.
Ability to work across functional lines to achieve beneficial changes.
