Maine Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Psychiatrist to provide medical leadership to a multidisciplinary team within its expanding behavioral health services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for initial evaluations, treatment planning, medication management, and other therapeutic interventions. This role offers a unique opportunity to integrate with primary care services and provide care to patients 18 years of age and older.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of Allopathic or Osteopathic Medical School
  • Completion of internship and psychiatric residency and/or fellowship training
  • Current and valid licensure as a physician by the Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine
  • Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or be eligible for examination
  • Board Certified or board eligible in general psychiatry
  • Current DEA Registration Certificate
  • 3+ years experience inclusive residency and/or fellowship training
