Job Summary

As a Radiology Interventional Technologist at Della Infotech, you will work under the direction of a Radiologist to perform procedures of an invasive nature to aid in the evaluation of pathological entities as prescribed by a physician. This role requires a high level of expertise and attention to detail, as you will be responsible for preparing patients for examinations, obtaining additional information about their medical history, and reviewing clinical data on requisitions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Explain examination procedures to patients and prepare them for the examination.
  • Obtain additional information about patients' medical history as necessary.
  • Review clinical data on requisitions, analyze anatomical structures of patients, and set up equipment according to protocols.
  • Assist Radiologists in performing complex diagnostic invasive procedures.
  • Prepare and set up sterile equipment, physiological monitors, pressure injectors, and imaging equipment required for procedures.
  • Ensure adequate supplies, such as needles and catheters, are on hand and properly stored.
  • Replenish supplies as needed.
  • Assess patient conditions before, during, and after procedures.
  • Manually control equipment to obtain proper diagnostic information for areas of the body being studied.
  • May assist with training new personnel and/or students assigned to the division.
  • Perform all imaging procedures by demonstrating principles of radiation protection.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Must maintain required hours of continued medical education.
  • Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) with the advanced registry in one of the following: Cardiac-Interventional Radiography (CI), Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI), or Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography (CV).
  • Must maintain a Healthcare Provider certification (BLS).
