We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Home Companion. As a Home Companion, you will be responsible for providing companionship and social interaction to our clients who may be experiencing loneliness or isolation. You will engage in activities that bring joy and fulfillment to our clients, such as reading, playing games, or simply spending time together. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others while building your own schedule at European Service at Home.

Salary: $20-$25 per hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities:
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to clients
  • Engage in activities that bring joy and fulfillment to clients, such as reading, playing games, or spending time together
  • Assist with light housekeeping and laundry tasks
  • Support clients with mobility issues, such as transfers and ambulation

Requirements:
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a valid driver's license and personal vehicle
  • Pass a background check
  • High School diploma/GED or caretaker letter of reference (personal or professional)
  • Legal authorization to work in Illinois, USA
