Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough histories and physicals, review lab results, and monitor blood levels to ensure optimal patient care.
- Provide support and resources to the adult residential program and detox as needed, working closely with the nursing staff.
- Coordinate with primary care physicians and psychiatrists when necessary, ensuring seamless care transitions.
- Work with the nursing staff to optimize medication costs for clients after discharge and complete prior authorization requests for medications.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Nurse Practitioner licensure with a focus on general or family medicine.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Addiction Medicine and/or family practice medicine.
