Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Delivery Associate to join our team at Great Lakes Wine and Spirits. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering wine and spirits to our customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Load cases of wine and spirits onto handtrucks and deliver to accounts in and around the city.
  • Driving and Safety: Drive CDL box trucks with airbrakes, ensuring safe and timely delivery of products.
  • Quality Control: Check products for damages and/or errors, and report any issues to management.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, being courteous, respectful, and friendly to all customers.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate power and manual pallet jacks, hi-lo's, and other equipment as needed.
  • Route Management: Collect payment and reconcile route, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing.
  • Communication: Communicate with department personnel professionally, and maintain open lines of communication with management and colleagues.
Requirements
  • CDL A or B License: Possess a valid CDL A or B license with airbrake endorsement.
  • Chauffeur License: Hold a valid chauffeur license.
  • Age and Experience: Be at least 21 years of age, and have a minimum of 2 years of experience driving CDL box trucks with airbrakes.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift up to 55 pounds, and work in all weather conditions.
  • Driving Record: Maintain an acceptable driving record.
